Rebels Rebound at Home verse Auburn

Friday Nov 1: Rebels Win 8-2

The Rebels came back home for the first time since their first games of the season. Jumping out to a quick lead in game 1 was big and they never looked back from there. Junior Forward Dan Warnecke finished the game with a hat trick and two assists and was a major factor when given the opportunity to contribute on special teams.

Saturday Nov 2: Rebels Take Game Two

In game 2 the Rebels looked to continue where they left off in game 1. Game 2 had a much different feel as the Rebels scored 9 of their 10 goals five-on-five. Scoring came from all over as Rainey, Murphy, Bates, Humphrey and Rogers all scored their first goals of the season. Goalie Justin Ragland looked to get his first shutout of the season but the Tigers scored on a late Power Play.

This marked the final games before the ACHA Division 3′s first rankings will be released. Rankings will be released this Friday.

The Rebels will host The University of Tennessee at the BancorpSouth arena in Tupelo, MS November 15th next. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online through the arena’s website: TICKETS
