(Olive Branch, Miss.) Ole Miss faced another SEC battle last Saturday against The University of Georgia Bulldogs. After falling short to the Bulldogs last season in the first round of the SEC Tournament, the Rebels looked for revenge. Lee Edelman opened up the scoring for the Rebels halfway through the first period, giving him five goals on the season. After a quiet second half of the first period, the Rebels controlled the second period. Matt Obstarczyk made the score 2-0 after a brilliant no look pass from Addison Oliver. Before the end of the period, Leo Cuzin added another goal to give the Rebels a 3-0 lead going into the third. Edelman secured the win for the team with an empty net goal to end the game with a score of 4-1. Justin Ragland faced 29 shots and came up with some huge saves throughout the game. On Thursday, the Rebels will be traveling to East Lansing, Mich. to take on D3 powerhouses Michigan State, Davenport and Grand Valley State.
